Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
Welcome to Bracket Assistant, a service operated by JI Technology LLC. By accessing or using BracketAssistant.com and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. Use of the service
Bracket Assistant provides tools for creating and managing tournaments, including registration, scheduling, standings, brackets, email communication, score tracking, and related organizer workflows. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and only for events, participants, and communications you are authorized to manage.
3. User accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Account owners are responsible for tournament setup, division configuration, player messaging, payment instructions, shared public pages, and billing choices made under their accounts.
4. Payments and subscriptions
Some features may require a paid subscription or other paid pricing model. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on the selected billing interval or pricing structure offered at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access to paid features generally continues through the end of the current billing period. Refund handling is described in the Refund Policy and any billing-related checkout or account management flow.
5. User content
You may submit content such as player information, tournament details, registration settings, communications, scores, and results. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Bracket Assistant the right to host, process, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to operate the service and its public tournament pages.
6. Organizer responsibility for participant data and events
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of tournament details, payment instructions, participant communications, and any event-specific notices or promises, including participant refund promises or local privacy disclosures. If you collect player or participant data through the service, you are responsible for using it lawfully.
7. Prohibited use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or spam-related purposes. You also agree not to interfere with or disrupt the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or use data or content you do not have the right to collect, upload, or publish.
8. Service availability
We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, pricing, or usage limits at any time. Some pages may include third-party advertising and related cookies. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bracket Assistant is not liable for lost data, tournament scheduling problems, participant disputes, organizer payment disputes, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if these Terms are violated or if use of the service creates security, abuse, operational, or legal risk.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
